Hello, my name is Tanvi, and welcome to my tiny corner of the internet. Imagine a cosy room brimming with mismatched cushions, posters and memorabilia adorning the walls, bookshelves brimming with books, and stacks of books strewn about. Of course, I'd greet you with a cup of tea and a spot of biscuits. Now that you're at ease, allow me to tell you a little bit about me and this Substack.

I am an aspiring economist. I am intrigued by policy and human behaviour, and most of my work will be on economics and my views on what is going on in the world around me. I enjoy expressing my opinions and discussing them with others. I'd want to share my thoughts on the books I'm reading and the podcasts I'm listening to. I will also be taking you along with me on my adventures in cooking and eating because I am quite the foodie.

So, while economics and policy are kind of my bread and butter, there are so many other things that are also my jam. This newsletter/blog/ verbal diarrhoea is a way for me to explore my enthusiasm for every single one. I want to be able to form connections between all the different aspects of the world that I am interested in always expanding my knowledge but deepening it as well on the topics that matter to me.
